Six years ago, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ (HCCC) was approached by Eastern Millwork, Inc. (EMI) for help in addressing a critical challenge. An industry leader in customized, high-end, automated architectural woodwork manufacturing and installation, EMI needed an apprenticeship program to develop a pipeline of engineers with technical expertise and creativity.

Throughout the United States, the stress of locating and registering for college courses significantly affects students and registrars. New and continuing students struggle to identify classes offered on days and at times that are convenient for them while also ensuring they are fulfilling all of their general education and major requirements.

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ (HCCC) celebrated 11 students who successfully completed Solar Installation Training offered by the College in partnership with Dimension Energy, a national community solar developer, owner and operator.

As ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ (HCCC) approaches the official celebration of its 50th Anniversary, HCCC is the focal point of three nationally published case studies detailing how the College’s data-driven approaches and collaborations play critical roles in achieving student and workforce development success.

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ (HCCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dominque Maynard as the new Director of the Hudson Hub One Stop Student Services Center.

Graduates of the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ (HCCC) Associate of Science Degree RN Nursing Program were celebrated on June 18, 2025 at Pinning and Traditional Candle Lighting Ceremonies as they took the International Nurses’ Pledge.

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ (HCCC) Board of Trustees Chair Jeanette Peña announced that Reverend Dr. Frances Snelling Teabout has been appointed to serve as the Board’s newest member, filling the expired term of Trustee Emerita Pamela Gardner. Dr. Teabout swore the oath of office at the Board’s June 10, 2025 meeting.

While summertime is traditionally viewed as a break from academics, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ (HCCC) is utilizing the season as a powerful springboard for student achievement. Through its new Free Summer Initiative, the College is helping thousands of students accelerate progress toward graduation.

Twelve Kearny High School (KHS) students have the distinction of earning their associate degrees in Liberal Arts from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ (HCCC) two weeks before receiving their high school diplomas.
